Philosophy
The design philosophy of Kumar House balances the clarity of modern Scandinavian design with the warmth of a Bali tropical theme. The exterior uses a clean and assertive composition, while the spatial experience is softened through curved elements, natural-toned materials, and openings toward the pool and terrace. Balinese identity appears through statues at the entrance, pool, and water feature, as well as the Dewi Saraswati statue in the inner garden as a focal point of the interior experience. This combination makes the house feel refined, modern, and personally tropical.
